An Australian tourist has been discovered shot dead inside a camper van outside the famous New Zealand surfing town of Raglan on the west shoreline of the North Island.
New Zealand police were advised at 3.20am on Friday morning and found the van that was before announced stolen with the body of a man inside at 8 am local time.
Australian Associated Press and the Age paper have named the unfortunate casualty as 33-year-old Australian Sean McKinnon, from south-west Victoria.
As per police, a male offender is currently the objective of a tremendous manhunt in the Waikato area and all local cops have been requested to convey their firearms until the man is gotten. Police said the man crushed the window of an Apollo camper van in the early hours of Friday.
Random shootings are extremely uncommon in New Zealand and a huge number of tourists travel securely in camper vans consistently, with many stopping their vans in favor of streets, in parks and in recreational territories.
